Social News Desk has confirmed through its Facebook Media Partnership that the current grace period for Branded Content posts which violate the new policy will end on 9/1/16. Up until now, posts which violate the policy were flagged and warned. But the content remained. Starting 9/1, any content which Facebook flags as being in violation of the Branded Content Policy will be REMOVED.

Pages will have the opportunity to appeal at which point Facebook will reverse its decision and restore the content if they feel a mistake was made on their part.
