How I use SND:

I came from a news background, so I used SND for years and years. When I came here, we had something else, and I hated it. It was just something I’d never used. I was learning a new job in a new industry I’d never worked in. SND was familiar; I knew it. I was a Social News Desk person.


I just knew that verbiage, that layout, that everything. The deciding factor was the cost. I reached out to SND and asked, “How much would this cost?” It was a fraction of the cost of what we were using. So I was like, “We’re doing that. Period. We can then go back and see the data, and you see the drive and traffic. It makes you feel really good that you’re like, “We’re reaching people the way we need to be reaching people.” I have told everybody, “Go with SND.” I’ve seen the number of people commenting back. You know, three years ago, I was the only person talking about SND.


And now, there’s Bellevue, there’s Schertz, there’s other cities who are like, “We just launched and it’s doing great so far.” So you definitely need to consider it; certainly do a demo with them and see if it fits your needs.
